Fostering diversity in the public service / OECD Public Governance Committee

The key question is how to build a public workforce that is of the adequate size to secure capacity, has the right competencies for the proper delivery of public services, and is representative of the population it serves. The issue of diversity focuses on the achievements and challenges OECD countries are facing to build a representative public service while at the same time guaranteeing a proper supply of skills and competencies required for service delivery.
