The operation of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

This report examines a range of issues relating to the operation of the Act over the past decade, including the cumulative impact of approvals under the Act on threatened species and ecological communities and the effectiveness of responses to key threats identified within the Act. This is the first report of the inquiry; a final report will be released on 24 April 2009.
